Which 2026 NFL draft prospect would be the perfect fit for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second round this April?
Max Chadwick of Pro Football Focus recently answered that question.
After trading up in the 2025 NFL draft with the Cleveland Browns in order to take Travis Hunter, the Jaguars do not have a first-round draft pick this year. So Jacksonville’s first selection will come in the second-round at 56th overall.
And at that point in the draft, Chadwick believes that Texas Tech interior defensive lineman Lee Hunter is a “perfect” fit for the Jaguars.
“Hunter’s 84.5 PFF run-defense grade this season ranked eighth among FBS defensive tackles,” Chadwick wrote. “He’s a better pass rusher than one would expect for a 330-pounder, placing second in the Big 12 with 26 pressures this year.”

Hunter is listed at 6-4 – 330 pounds. He’s played over 1,800 career defensive snaps, including over 500 snaps in each of the last three seasons, per PFF.
The Jaguars’ defense was the best in football against the run in 2025. However, particularly down the stretch, Jacksonville could have benefited from some additional pass rush juice from the interior defensive line.
