While Josh Allen prepares for the Buffalo Bills’ high-stakes Divisional Round matchup against the Denver Broncos this Saturday, the internet has been busy digging up past receipts. A decade-old social media post from his wife, Hailee Steinfeld, has caused quite a kerfluffle online this week.

“HELL YEAH BRONCOS!!!!” Steinfeld wrote on X (formerly Twitter) back on Feb. 7, 2016, during Super Bowl 50. The “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” included a photo of her from the big game sporting a bright orange Denver jacket and dabbing in celebration. That night, the Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers 24-10.

The post awkwardly re-emerged this week, creating a hilarious conflict of interest given Steinfeld’s past allegiance to the very team standing in her husband’s way. While Bills fans have called on her to delete the post, Broncos fans have seized the opportunity to go full-on troll mode.

CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson, who is set to cover the game at Empower Field at Mile High, went straight to Allen to discuss this now-viral photo. And it seems that the Bills QB, who is actively working towards his first Super Bowl win, won’t be losing sleep over his wife’s traitorous past.

“Asked Josh about this pic and he told me he had no idea it was floating around. Laughed and said she was probably paid to be there. And that he definitely wasn’t going to bring it up at home,” wrote Wolfson on Thursday.

Allen and Steinfeld, both 29, began dating in May 2023 and got engaged in Nov. 2024. The power couple married in a gorgeous Ventura, California, wedding this past May. Last month, Steinfeld revealed they are currently expecting their first child together.

The Bills and Broncos will go head-to-head in Denver on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
