The Los Angeles Chargers might have made the playoffs, but that doesn’t mean that change isn’t in the air, with the team parting ways with offensive coordinator Greg Roman after a dismal performance in the team’s postseason loss against the New England Patriots.

With their coordinator search underway, the Chargers announced that they have completed an initial interview with former Titans head coach Brian Callahan for the position. This is the second known interview for Callahan since he was let go by the Titans in October after a disastrous start to the season.

Viewed as an outstanding offensive mind before being hired by the Titans, Callahan’s offense struggled in Nashville, and his system and playcalling never translated to success with the Titans, finishing his tenure with a dismal 4-19 overall record from 2024-2025.

Callahan also interviewed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for their offensive coordinator opening, but has not received any known interest in any of the eight remaining head coaching vacancies.
