The Cleveland Browns announced that they are interviewing Jacksonville Jaguars’ offensive coordinator Grant Udinski for the team’s head coaching opening.

It was reported earlier in the week that Udinski would be among the candidates considered for the Browns’ head coaching opening, but it’s now official that the interview is taking place on Saturday.

The Browns fired Kevin Stefanski after the 2025 season ended.

According to the Browns’ team site, Udinski is the ninth head coaching candidate to interview.

This past year was Udinski’s first with the Jaguars. He played a key role in Trevor Lawrence’s growth and in the success the Jacksonville offense had over the second half of the season, averaging almost 33 points per game during their eight-game winning streak.

Before that, Udinski spent a few years in the Minnesota Vikings‘ organization, and in his final season with the team, he was the assistant offensive coordinator and the assistant quarterbacks coach, working closely with head coach Kevin O’Connell.

Udinski’s interview with the Browns on Saturday is virtual. Presumably, the next step for Cleveland would be to announce a second round of in-person interviews with the finalists.

The Miami Dolphins have completed an interview with Jaguars’ defensive coordinator, Anthony Campanile, for their head coaching job.
