At this time one year ago, the Washington Commanders shocked the NFC’s No. 1 seed, the Detroit Lions, on the road to advance to the NFC Championship Game. What a difference a year makes, as Washington just completed the 2025 season with a 5-12 record. The Commanders dealt with numerous injuries throughout the year, including to quarterback Jayden Daniels, which cost him 10 games.

Last year’s NFC Championship featured a third meeting between the Commanders and NFC East rival, the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles repeated as NFC East champions, but were defeated last week in the NFC wild-card round. That means there will be a new Super Bowl champion next month.

So, while the Commanders are out, several former Washington players are in action during Divisional Round weekend. We look at every former Commander in action during this weekend’s games. We only count the players currently on 53-man rosters, so those on the practice squads or on injured reserve are not listed.
