All game long, the stadium was loud, and multiple times registered seismic activity on the seismograms that were installed around the stadium. One of them was during Rashid Shaheed’s kickoff touchdown return on the opening kick.
Quarterback Sam Darnold said, “The kickoff, that guy taking it to the house. That was special. To hear that stadium too, rocking the way Lumen was tonight. Unbelievable, man. The 12s came out. It was fun.”
And throughout the game, Seattle kept giving the fans more reason to celebrate, with the defense coming up with huge plays like forced fumbles and the run game shining, with three rushing touchdowns on the night.
“The 12s brought it,” Cooper Kupp said. “It was really cool, really cool to see that. And I’m glad we were able to put on a show for him and man, looking forward to what they can do next week.”
DeMarcus Lawrence said, “To hear the crowd noise, no better feeling.”
“Lumen was pretty much rocking that first quarter, for sure,” Julian Love said. “And then in the game, it kept going for us.”
The stadium was so loud at some points, the shaking could be felt inside the press box.
Grey Zabel said, “It was one of one, the 12s are one of one. I’m excited for the next game and it’s just going to keep getting rowdier and rowdier. Next Sunday can’t come soon enough.”
Abraham Lucas added, “I love the 12s and how rowdy they get. Being from here, I have certainly added my noise to the 12s growing up. I’m just happy to be a part of it.”
