While his rookie season wasn’t what he envisioned, Tennessee Titans wide receiver Xavier Restrepo took some time to share some tips with a flag football team.Â
ESPN reporter Jeff Darlington took to social media to share the surprise workout with Restrepo, who showed the young ballplayers some techniques for getting open, which included Darlington’s son.Â
Restrepo may not have had a tremendous rookie season, but the wide receiver is a college football legend from his time with the Hurricanes, where he was a dominant force. He finished his college career with 200 receptions for 2,844 yards and 21 touchdowns in 51 games.Â
Restrepo signed with the Titans as an undrafted rookie free agent after a disappointing pre-draft process, during which he fell through the draft due to a lack of elite measurables and traits. The former All-American spent the season on the Titans’ practice squad but looked productive when given a shot in two games. Unfortunately, he suffered an ankle injury that stifled his momentum.Â
