Eight Denver Broncos players did not play in the team’s divisional round playoff game against the Buffalo Bills on Saturday.
Denver quarterback Sam Ehlinger, cornerback Reese Taylor, inside linebacker Karene Reid, outside linebacker Que Robinson, wide receiver Elijah Moore, tight end Caleb Lohner and defensive lineman Jordan Jackson were inactive for the 33-30 win. Additionally, backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham did not see the field as starter Bo Nix played every snap on offense, including two plays with a broken ankle.
Moore and Lohner were elevated from the practice squad to the game-day roster on Friday, but they were healthy scratches on Saturday. By elevating them to the game-day roster, the Broncos rewarded the two players with game checks for their practice efforts.
