CLEVELAND, OHIO (TheOBR.com) – Good morning, Cleveland Browns fans! It’s a cold Cleveland Sunday filled with more NFL playoff football on television today. I hope you’re able to stay warm and enjoy the high level of football that’s been on display in the NFL playoffs so far.
THE DAILY BLOVIATION
GRANT UDINSKI SUPPOSEDLY BLOWS THEM AWAY: The Cleveland Browns did a remote interview with fan favorite brainiac coaching candidate Grant Udinski yesterday. Udkinski was the offensive coordinator for the Jaguars last season and has been given a lot of credit for the turnaround in Trevor Lawrence’s play. That came a year after he supposedly did the same thing with Sam Darnold in Minnesota. So, he has the attention of the quarterback-needy Browns.
Udinkski would be the youngest head coach in NFL history as a newly-minted 30-year-old. In addition to the Vikings and Jaguars, Udinski toiled with the Carolina Panthers to begin his coaching career in 2020, and headed to Minnesota in 2022.
Some podcast host on X says he blew away the Browns in his interview, whichapparently lasted three hours, but I’ve not heard anything about that from more reliable sources. The same source says that he’s likely to head to Cleveland on Monday for an in-person interview. But it seems like Udinski knows his stuff andinterviews well, so this is all believable.
Udlinski has a special fascination for the Browns because of his youth and, I’m assuming, the LA Rams success with a similarly young head coach in Sean McVay. He would be a big swing for the Browns which could result in a home run or a strikeout. Desperate times sometimes call for risks to be taken.
KEVIN STEFANSKI LANDS A JOB: It was probably expected that Kevin Stefanski would find a new head coaching job before the Browns replaced him, but it shows the challenge that the Browns face in selling a new head coach. Just a couple of hours after his second interview with the Falcons, news broke that Stefanski would be the Falcons’ new head coach. The Falcons aggressively courted Stefanski, beating out Miami, Baltimore, and Tennessee for his services. It’s a topic on the forums, as you would expect.
It looks like Stefanski will take OC Tommy Rees with him to the Falcons, increasing the Browns’ staffing challenge. Although there are rumors about Brian Callahan as well. Even OL guru Bill Callahan is expected to hang with Sefanski in Atlanta. More fortuitously for the Brows, Bubba Ventrone might go along too. As I mentioned yesterday, the whole gang will be coming to Cleveland to get “revenge” against the always-struggling Browns.
LURKING IN THE BACKGROUND: There’s a lot of buzz to “keep an eye on” Bengals offensive coordinator Dan Pitcher. Pitcher was an early candidate for the Browns head coaching job, but we haven’t heard much about a second interview with him. He’s just there, silenty orbiting the job, while the team has apparently turned its attention elsewhere.
Have a good one! GO BROWNS!

Why the Do Nothing Challenge Doesn’t Do Much for You – (nautil.us)
My to-do list is a mile long, but now I’m supposed to add “do nothing” to it? Sorry, but it sounds like a waste of time, and I wouldn’t be able to last more than a few minutes doing it anyway. I don’t have time to sit in a chair staring blankly at the world around me.
