Former New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll is expected to interview for the Philadelphia Eagles‘ offensive coordinator position, reports ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Daboll, 50, was fired by the Giants in November after a 2-8 start to the 2025 season, ending his three-and-a-half-year tenure with a 21-41-1 regular-season record and one playoff win. He earned AP Coach of the Year honors in 2022 after leading the Giants to a 9-7-1 record and their first postseason berth since 2016.
The potential move to Philadelphia carries intrigue. Daboll previously worked with Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni on the Kansas City Chiefs’ staff in 2012, coached quarterback Jalen Hurts at Alabama in 2017, and mentored running back Saquon Barkley during Barkley’s time in New York.
Daboll is also in demand elsewhere. He has already interviewed for the Tennessee Titans’ head coaching vacancy and is scheduled to meet with the Los Angeles Chargers about their offensive coordinator role.
Additional interviews are anticipated as the former Buffalo Bills OC, who helped develop Josh Allen, remains a highly regarded offensive mind.
