The Bills fought to earn a win over the Jaguars on Sunday in the Wild Card opening round of the playoffs.
QB and reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen had a message to spark a comeback that saw 4 lead changes between the teams in the 4th quarter, and Buffalo winning their first road playoff game since the 1992 postseason.
“I love you all. I got you; you got me.”
Per Pro Football Focus (PFF), Allen went 14 of 16 with 195 total yards and three total touchdowns and a passer rating of 133.1 when the Bills were trailing in the game.
The Bills found themselves behind 17-13 in the fourth quarter when Allen found Dalton Kincaid for his lone passing touchdown of the day to take the lead with 8:56 to go in the game. Jacksonville answered, retaking the lead 24-20 with four minutes left in the contest.

The Bills’ offense punched back as the teams exchanged offensive blows, advancing downfield before facing a critical fourth-and-one at the Jaguars 11-yard line.
Allen and his linemen stampeded down to the goal line before tumbling into the end zone for a 10-yard quarterback sneak, dragging Jags’ defenders along with them in the process. He followed that up with his second rushing touchdown of the game on the next snap to take a 27-24 lead, which would prove to be the winning score.“It just means we get another game,” Allen said after the win. “We’ve got to go find a way to put our best foot forward this week in practice, put together a good game plan, and go out there to execute again next Saturday or Sunday again, whenever we play.”
Next up, Allen and company will travel to the Mile High City for a short rest, Division Round matchup Saturday with the No. 1 seed Denver Broncos, who are coming off their first-round bye week to start their postseason.
Having played his college ball at Wyoming, Allen knows the thin air will play a factor and that the Bills will continue to battle and fight.
“Physically, it’s going to challenge you… best thing we can do is not really talk about it… It is an advantage… It’s going to be tough, but we gotta fight through it.”
