The Tennessee Titans will begin the second round of interviews on Monday as their coaching search kicks into high gear, with the possibility of naming a new head coach by the end of the week.
While it is not known whether any other names will be added to the list in the coming days, Matt Nagy, Robert Saleh, and Jeff Hafley are all scheduled to travel to the team facility beginning Monday for a second round of interviews.

Here is a quick breakdown of the three candidates:
Matt Nagy – Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator
Nagy, being one of the final coaches on the Titans’ list, should not come as a surprise. He has been mentioned in connection with the Titans’ opening since Brian Callahan was fired in October because of his history with Mike Borgonzi.
A polarizing candidate, Nagy has plenty of NFL experience and has seen varying degrees of success. As head coach, Nagy has a 34-31 record with the Bears over four seasons, including two playoff berths, and was named the 2018 NFL Coach of the Year.
He does bring an understanding of the team culture that Borgonzi wants to install in Nashville, and some consider him the frontrunner. He will have his second interview with the team on Monday morning.

Robert Saleh – San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator
This will be Saleh’s first interview with the Titans after Mike Borgonzi decided he had enough information to move forward with the process. Saleh has been a hot name during this search, with 21 years of NFL coaching experience and demonstrated leadership qualities and a temperament that Borgonzi has discussed.
Saleh spent three-plus seasons as head man with the New York Jets (2021-2024), where he compiled a 20-36 record. After his work keeping the 49ers’ defense afloat in 2025, Saleh has climbed back into head coaching talks and is one of the top head coaching prospects in this cycle.
He is scheduled to interview at the Titans’ facility on Monday afternoon.

Jeff Hafley – Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator
Hafley brings nine years of NFL coaching experience and an extensive college coaching resume, with teams that have shown fight and consistency. He returned to the NFL in 2024 after his stint at Boston College to lead the Packers’ defense, and his units have excelled.
A long-time Greg Schiano disciple, Hafley has spent time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns, San Francisco 49ers, and Green Bay Packers during his time in the NFL, and would be a first-time NFL head coach.
Widely considered the front-runner for the Miami Dolphins’ opening, he is scheduled to interview with the organization on Tuesday.
