The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to interview Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Dan Pitcher for their vacant OC position, according to a report via Twitter/X from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Rapoport added that the opportunity was “made possible by coach Zac Taylor giving Pitcher permission to speak to teams with play-calling OC opportunities.”

On Jan. 7, the Cleveland Browns reportedly requested to interview Pitcher for their head-coaching vacancy.

Pitcher’s departure could pave the way for former Bengals OC Brian Callahan, fired last season as the Tennessee Titans‘ head coach, to return to Cincinnati. Pitcher replaced Callahan as the Bengals’ offensive coordinator in Jan. 2024 when Callahan left for Tennessee.
