A handful of 2025 Carolina Panthers are getting an early jump into the open market.

With the team’s wild-card round exit now a week behind us, the contracts of five practice squad members officially expired on Monday. Those players, who were not brought back on reserve/future deals, are as follows:

QB Mike WhiteTE Ross DwelleyOL Brandon WaltonDL Jaden CrumedyDB David Long Jr.

The most notable departure is that of Crumedy, Carolina’s sixth-round pick from the 2024 NFL Draft. The 25-year-old lineman and Mississippi State University product appeared in eight games over the last two seasons, totaling 15 combined tackles and half a sack.

White’s exit leaves the Panthers with just two quarterbacks who are currently under contract—starter Bryce Young and veteran backup Andy Dalton. Dalton, who is set to turn 39 years old in the middle of the 2026 campaign, will be entering the final year of his contract.
