NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – On Monday, the Tennessee Titans interviewed Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy and San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh for the team’s head coaching vacancy.
This is the second interview for Nagy with the team. Saleh got his first chance to make his case for the job.
NFL insiders are reporting that the Tennessee Titans have narrowed their head coaching search down to three candidates.
The Titans have confirmed interviews with 16 candidates for the job. They had previously scheduled a Tuesday interview with Packers defensive coordinator, Jeff Hafley. But, Hafley was hired Monday by the Miami Dolphins to be their next head coach.
Also on Monday, the Buffalo Bills fired head coach Sean McDermott. McDermott being on the market adds a wrinkle for the remaining seven teams who are searching for new head coaches.
