The Pro Football Writers of America announced their All-NFL Team for the 2025 season on Monday. They also revealed their All-NFC and All-AFC teams.

Only one player from the New York Giants was honored, linebacker Brian Burns, who was named to both the All-NFL and the All-NFC teams. Earlier this year, he was named to the NFC’s Pro Bowl Games roster.

Burns, 27, is in his second season with Big Blue after coming over in an offseason trade with the Carolina Panthers in March of 2024. The Giants immediately signed Burns to a five-year, $141 million contract extension with $87.5 million guaranteed.

Burns has played and started in every game since joining the Giants. After recording 8.5 sacks in 2024, Burns set a career-high with 31 QB hits, 22 tackles for loss, and 16.5 sacks this past season. He’s also recorded 67 tackles (39 solo), seven passes defensed, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.

Burns’ 16.5 sacks were the second-most in the NFL this season, behind Myles Garrett’s record-setting 23.0 and the fourth-most by a Giant in a single season, tying Jason Pierre-Paul, who had 16.5 sacks in 2011.
