It didn’t take long for Kristian Wilkerson to find a new home. A week after the Raiders cut the veteran wide receiver, he has signed on with the Buffalo Bills.

Wilkerson is a five-year NFL veteran. Of his four NFL seasons, he spent that past two in Las Vegas, appearing in five games with one start. The rest of the time he was a mainstay on the team’s practice squad.

Last season he saw three targets, catching two passes for 18 yards, one for a touchdown in a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

This year the Raiders overhauled much of their receiver room, including adding three receivers in the draft. They took TCU’s Jack Bech at 58 overall in the second round, Tennessee’s Dont’a Thornton in the fourth round and former Montana State QB Tommy Mellott in the bottom of the sixth round.

Immediately following the draft they signed undrafted free agent WR Ketron Jackson Jr. and WR Key’Shawn Smith. That’s when Wilkerson was cut.
