ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills owner Terry Pegula and President of Football Operations / General Manager Brandon Beane are holding a press conference Wednesday morning.

This will be the first time they have spoken to the media since the team announced the firing of head coach Sean McDermott Monday.

Pegula so far has only released a statement, which said McDermott has done an admirable job of leading the team for nine seasons. However, he stated he feels like the team is “in need of a new structure within our leadership to give this organization the best opportunity to take our team to the next level.”

On Tuesday, the team thanked McDermott “for everything,” on social media.

Beane will oversee all football operations and will lead the search for a new head coach, working alongside Pegula and the Bills’ president of business operations in the hiring process.

The Bills haven’t yet released a formal list of candidates for the position, but there are several possible options, including Joe Brady, Brian Daboll, and Davis Webb.
