Somebody who can help us break this down The inside, we welcome in John Feliciano, a 10-year NFL vet.
Spent three years with McDermott in Buffalo.
Uh, I, I really appreciate that.
What was your initial reaction yesterday?
Because a lot of us sat here, sort of shocked, as it went down.
As someone who knows that organization, how did you react?
Um, yeah, man, I was shocked, too.
Um, you know, I get it at the same, at the same time, but Sean is so well-respected and liked in that building.

That organization, uh, really has a lot to thank Sean for, what he’s done and changed the culture.
Um, I think I got there his second or third season.
That was his third season.
And I’m going to be honest, When I went to Buffalo, at that time, Buffalo wasn’t a destination.
And, um, my ties there was- it was Bobby Johnson, uh, Who I spent time with him in Oakland.
And, um, Yeah, Buffalo wasn’t like, “Hey, let’s go to Buffalo.”
Um, But obviously, when I got there, I fell in love with the place.
And now people are going to Buffalo because they want to go win.
And, um, that, that is a credit to Sean.
So much was made yesterday about, Once he was fired, about Davis Webb, a hot name.

Dragon… Also, uh, he– right, all right.
So, what does the world need to know about Davis Webb?
Um, that only… Now, I, I… For as long as I’ve known Davis, I’ve never called him Davis.
Um, it’s so weird for me to call him Davis.
Um, but man, yeah, that’s Dragon, man.
Dragon is a, A, a, a hell of a coach.
Um, he was doing things, He was the definition of a player-coach, especially…
I mean, you go back to my time with him on the Giants, our one year together.
He was doing advanced scouting for the team we would play the following week.
Um, so for many years, uh, when he was with the Giants before, or even the Jets, but for sure when he was on Buffalo.

His first few games, or not first few games, but first few years.
He was all about doing, you know, the coach’s jobs.
I mean, he was doing all the advanced scouting.
Breaking down film.
Um, so Davis is, uh, I, Like my tweet says, I think Dragon- we have an opportunity in Buffalo to, to do what the Rams did with Sean McVay, hiring Sean when, when he was 30.
I think Davis is going to be one of the best coaches in the league in, uh, in the next decade.
Um, and I mean, I think I’m not the only one.
He’s getting another interview, a second.
Interview with the Raiders.
He’s getting another with the Ravens.
So, like, he is becoming a hot commodity.
