The oldest living World War II veteran in Massachusetts received a special birthday surprise.

Last month, volunteers at the Veterans Council in Beverly collected birthday cards for Louis Tanzer’s 105th birthday.

One of the cards came from the New England Patriots and was signed by head coach Mike Vrabel and several players.

Tanzer also received a video call from Patriots owner Robert Kraft and a customized jersey with the number 105.
