The Tennessee Titans had a solid rookie class, with most of their picks gaining valuable experience in 2025.
On offense, Cam Ward, Chimere Dike, Elic Ayomanor, and Gunnar Helm all played a significant role, and there were a lot of positives to take from their efforts. On Wednesday, one of those, tight end Gunnar Helm, sat down with former NFL coach Jon Gruden to discuss his rookie season.

Helm made an impact in 2025, and in some ways outplayed his draft pedigree as a fourth-round pick, finishing with 44 receptions for 357 yards and two touchdowns, while increasing his reps each game.
During the interview, Helm revealed that he plans to work on his strength and become a better in-line, every-down tight end in his second season. With Chig Okonkwo an unrestricted free agent, Helm is likely preparing for an increased role in 2026.
One of the biggest takeaways was that Helm is one of Gruden’s favorite young tight ends and that he believes Helm is ready for bigger things in the future. In this case, Titans fans hope he’s right.
