LAS VEGAS RAIDERS minority owner Tom Brady wants to hire an offensive-minded head coach – after setting his sights on making Fernando Mendoza the No1 pick in the NFL Draft.
The franchise had a season to forget, going 3-14 and posting the worst record in the entire league.

The dismal record resulted in Pete Carroll being fired after just one year in charge earlier this month.
And the Raiders have quickly looked at pinpointing an ideal replacement as early preparations are made for next season.
NFL insider Jordan Schultz reports that Brady, 48, has devised a secret plan to land an offensive-minded head coach who will pair perfectly with expected incoming quarterback Mendoza.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion is set to pick Carroll’s successor alongside general manager John Spytek.

Klint Kubiak, who is in the postseason as the Seattle Seahawks’ offensive coordinator, is among the frontrunners for the job.
Davis Webb is also being considered after shining as the offensive pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Denver Broncos.
Los Angeles Chargers defensive coordinator Jesse Minter is not thought to be on course to be given the nod.
Mendoza, 22, led the Indiana Hoosiers to their first-ever national championship last weekend.

And Brady was at Hard Rock Stadium to watch the 27-21 win over the Miami Hurricanes.
Indiana went undefeated throughout the entire campaign and Mendoza recorded 41 passing touchdowns along the way.
