Philadelphia’s season ended with a 23-19 loss to San Francisco in the wild card round, and A.J. Brown was right in the middle of all the noise afterward.
Brown caught three passes on seven targets for 25 yards, and it all came in the first quarter. After that, nothing. Questions about his future started flying almost immediately.

Some Eagles fans want him gone, and teams around the league are definitely paying attention. Meanwhile, Brown has since kept a low profile this offseason.
He was recently spotted in Miami with his fiancée, Kelsey Riley, and their kid. During the trip, he ran into a young fan selling stuff on the street. A video shows Brown asking what the kid wanted, then turning to Riley to check how much a PS5 costs.
He ended up handing over somewhere between $500 and $600 as Kelsey bought one of the candy packets that the kid was selling. He even took a photo before getting into the car while the fan thanked him.
It was a beautiful gesture from Brown. But, soon, the attention is going to shift back to what’s next for him in Philly. His future with the Eagles has become a real question after a season full of talent but also clear frustration.

This isn’t about whether he can play. Brown is still one of the best receivers in the league. The mess is mostly his own doing, though. Trading him now wouldn’t get the Eagles much value anyway.

His contract has a ton of guaranteed money left, and his public comments haven’t exactly helped the team’s leverage.
Other teams know Philadelphia isn’t desperate to move him, but they can also see this relationship isn’t working the way it used to.
