The 29-year-old Doyle comes from the Sean Payton coaching tree, and was a first-year OC under play-caller Ben Johnson in Chicago last season. The Bears’ offense was markedly better in 2025, and ranked No. 6 in the NFL in total yards and yards per game, and No. 3 in total rushing yards. Doyle found interesting ways to utilize his running backs, including former Eagle RB D’Andre Swift, which had a huge impact later in the season. Against the Eagles, the Bears had 281 rushing yards and 154 receiving yards, against a Vic Fangio defense that had been playing lights out.
Another point that Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni is sure to love, is that the Bears led the league in turnover differential. They won the turnover battle of the regular season, and that has always been one of Sirianni’s top priorities.
