Aaron Donald knows exactly what it’s like to be in the position the Los Angeles Rams are in right now. He played in two NFC Championship Games during his illustrious career, winning both of them to reach the Super Bowl twice in his 10 seasons.
He doesn’t play for the Rams anymore but his presence is still very much felt in L.A., whether it’s when he reaches out to players with coaching tips or attends practices or games throughout the year. He’s pulling hard for them this weekend, posting a motivational message on Instagram Friday before the Rams head to Seattle for their biggest game of the season.
“1 game away from the big game fellas. Go get it done. You work to play in games like this,” he wrote.
Former Rams star and Super Bowl champion Jalen Ramsey commented on Donald’s post and even he’s rooting for L.A. in this rivalry game against the Seahawks.
“LESGOOO! they gotta go get it! 🐐” Ramsey wrote.

Donald was at the Rams’ playoff win over the Vikings in Arizona last year, supporting his former team all the way in Glendale. We’ll see if he’s in the building at Lumen Field on Sunday but even if he isn’t, you can bet he’ll be parked in front of a TV, anxiously watching some of his past teammates try to reach the Super Bowl.
If there’s anything that can motivate a team, it’s a message from the legendary Aaron Donald.
