Notre Dame’s Jeremiyah Love headlines the 2026 NFL Draft running back class. However, his running mate, Jadarian Price, is one of the better prospects in his own right. There is a lot to like about Price’s game, and his upside projects well to the NFL. What does his scouting report look like? Let’s talk about it.
Price, a former four-star prospect out of Denison High School in Denison, Texas, won District 7 5A Offensive Player of the Year twice. During his time at Dension, he would rush for 4,990 yards and 55 total touchdowns. In his freshman year at Notre Dame, he tore his Achilles tendon, and upon his recovery, his grind began from special teamer to a strong RB2 for the Fighting Irish.

Jadarian Price brings the juice. He is going to run in the low 4.4’s, and if he cracks 4.39 or better, watch his draft stock soar. He runs with evil intent, almost seeking out someone to hit. He has great vision and patience behind the line of scrimmage, waiting for holes to develop before hitting it. His receiving ability has improved significantly during his time at Notre Dame. His time on special teams makes him a return man at the next level, which is huge value early on. Arguably, the best part is that since he played behind Audric Estime and then Jeremiyah Love, there is tons of tread left on these tires.
We spoke about his patience and vision, but there are times he is a little too patient and waits too long to hit holes. These hesitations result in missed opportunities and lost yards. One quick way to earn reps is being strong in pass protection, and this is a major weakness in his game. NFL teams might have been hesitant about that torn Achilles before, but I think his speed shows there’s no worry on that front.
Jadarian Price projects as a nice piece to an NFL offense. He would thrive more in a zone rushing scheme, where he can rush outside the tackles and catch passes out of the backfield. Running back grades vary on how high you’d take running backs. I would not spend early capital on running backs.
Price grades out as a fourth-round pick, but understanding he is likely long gone before then is vital.
