New York Giants head coach John Harbaugh is reshaping the coaching staff following Brian Daboll and Mike Kafka’s departure, with only two holdovers remaining.

Paul Schwartz of the New York Post reports that outside linebackers coach Charlie Bullen and tight ends coach Tim Kelly are expected to stay.

Bullen, who served as interim defensive coordinator late in 2025, has strong ties to general manager Joe Schoen from their Miami days and earned praise for revitalizing the pass rush and unlocking players like Brian Burns and Dexter Lawrence.

In a surprising development, offensive line coach Carmen Bricillo is not expected to return.

Bricillo, hired in 2024, dramatically improved the unit’s performance and cohesion. The Giants front office strongly recommended his retention, right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor publicly voiced support, and even Harbaugh’s father, Jack, urged keeping him.

Despite the endorsements, Harbaugh appears set to move in a different direction, potentially eyeing Ravens offensive line coach George Warhop.

The changes signal Harbaugh’s preference for blending his Baltimore roots with limited continuity from the prior regime.
