As John Harbaugh gets his feet wet as the new head coach of the New York Giants, he’ll be sifting through the organization to see who is a keeper and who he will replace.

One assistant that seems to be a keeper is offensive line coach Carmen Bricillo, who has seemingly solved the team’s decade-long issue along the offensive front.

Many within the organization (and out of it) have recommended Harbaugh retain Bricillo, including his father, Jack, a longtime coach and mentor to John.

Another advocate for Bricillo is right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor. The veteran right tackle has flourished under Bricillo’s guidance.

Eluemunor’s endorsement may not mean as much, since he’s a free agent this offseason as well. The Giants would like to have him back, and he wants to stay a Giant. More to come on that.

First things first, however. The Giants need to keep Bricillo in the building.
