The first matchup of Sunday’s Conference Championship slate features the final two squads remaining in the AFC, as the New England Patriots travel across the country to take on the Denver Broncos. It’s the No. 1 seed vs. a team that is undefeated on the road this season. Both of these sides are capable of racking up the points. The TreVeyon Henderson rookie show was enthralling for a majority of the season, but now that the playoffs have come, it’s clear who Mike Vrabel and Josh McDaniels want to carry the ball.

Rhamondre Stevenson has been nothing short of stellar since returning from injury in the second half of the regular season. The veteran finished the year averaging 4.6 yards per carry, proving invaluable in pass protection and as a receiver out of the backfield. Over New England’s first two playoff games, it’s felt like Henderson has been somewhat indecisive with his touches, while his counterpart has met the moment head on.

The Pats will hope to establish the run early and often, and when they reach the goal line, Stevenson will be the man who gets the ball.
