The NFL has issued fines stemming from the Divisional Round matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks, and two 49ers defenders were among those penalized.

Cornerback Deommodore Lenoir was fined $20,944 for unnecessary roughness after head-butting Seahawks wide receiver Jaxson Smith-Njigba during the third quarter of the game. The incident occurred as tensions escalated in what became a lopsided contest.

Additionally, linebacker Dee Winters was fined $5,907 for unnecessary roughness stemming from a hip-drop tackle in the third quarter.

Lenoir and Winters were two of five players across the league fined for actions during the Divisional Round of the playoffs.

Lenoir has been with the 49ers since being selected in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, while Winters joined San Francisco in 2023 as a sixth-round pick.

The 49ers suffered a 41–6 loss to the Seahawks, ending their postseason run short of the NFC Championship Game. Seattle will advance to face the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship Game this weekend.
