The Patriots survived some shaky offensive play and a second-half blizzard at Empower Field to defeat the Denver Broncos 10-7 in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game.
The victory gives Mike Vrabel’s club a perfect 9-0 road record on the season and punches the Patriots’ ticket to Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara, Calif., where they’ll face the winner of the NFC Championship Game (Seattle Seahawks vs. Los Angeles Rams).
This is New England’s first-ever playoff win in Denver after going 0-4 in four previous postseason games in the Mile High City.
