A former Indianapolis Colts’ head coach has been linked to the New York Jets.

According to Connor Hughes of SNY TV, Frank Reich has been “linked” to the Jets as the team searches for a veteran offensive play caller.

At this time, no official interview or anything along those lines has been reported.

Tanner Engstrand is listed as the Jets’ offensive coordinator on the team site, but Hughes adds that he is “not expected” to call plays in 2026.

Reich was the Colts‘ head coach from 2018 through 2022. During that span, the Colts were 40-33-1 with Reich at the helm. Indianapolis would make the playoffs twice in 2018 and 2020, logging one postseason win.
