The Las Vegas Raiders reportedly have another finalist for their head-coaching vacancy.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Raiders are hosting Denver Broncos passing-game coordinator and quarterbacks coach, Davis Webb, for a second interview for their head-coach vacancy on Monday.

Schefter adds that Webb will also have his first interview for the Buffalo Bills‘ job.

“A busy day ahead for Broncos pass game coordinator and QB coach Davis Webb: he will in fact interview today for the head coach jobs with the Raiders and Bills, per source. It is his second interview with the Raiders and his first with the Bills,” Schefter reported.

This is the third known second interview for the Raiders.

Along with Webb, the Raiders have spoken with Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady and Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero twice, also.

Given the fact that this is his second interview with the Raiders, that means Webb is a finalist for the job and has a legitimate chance to land it.

After transitioning to coaching following his short NFL career, Webb has quickly become a rising star in league circles.

But he would be a gamble, as Webb is just 31 years old and has never even held an offensive coordinator position and has only been a coach for three years in total.

That said, Webb’s experience in helping to develop Broncos quarterback Bo Nix will be one of the things that intrigues the Raiders given the fact that Las Vegas figures to draft Fernando Mendoza with the No. 1 overall pick in April.

Webb can also offset fears about his lack of experience by bringing in experienced offensive and defensive coordinators to help him.

With Webb’s Broncos eliminated from the playoffs, the Raiders can move quickly to hire him if they so choose, but we would expect more second interviews this week, including with Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak.
