The Cleveland Browns are coming off a three-win season. Nobody is going to give them respect until they have earned that respect.

That remains true in Touchdown Wire’s latest NFL predictions, where author Jarrett Bailey predicted each team’s record heading into the 2025 offseason. And for the Browns, Bailey projected just a measly five wins this upcoming season. Keeping it brief and to the point on the Browns, Bailey stated:

“Cleveland and their half dozen quarterbacks will be a fun storyline to follow, but they are looking forward to the 2026 NFL Draft for a quarterback.”

It’s hard to argue with the logic, however, after the Browns essentially punted on addressing the quarterback position in any meaningful way this offseason. It would be great if a young guy like Dillon Gabriel or Shedeur Sanders would take the job by the horns. But given the draft slot they were selected, neither is going to prevent the Browns from going after a top-tier talent this upcoming NFL Draft.

Especially while wielding two first round picks.

Can the Browns surprise some people this season? We’ll see, but they’ve set up those expectations themselves by running into the NFL draft with just Kenny Pickett and Joe Flacco as their only quarterbacks on the roster.
