The Carolina Hurricanes have confidence in their offence but know they need to stay focused to maximize chances against the Florida Panthers.

Guys. Questions for Andre and Jordan? Left side front row. And talked about how you guys got, you know, a good amount of chances last game. Were you satisfied with the amount you were getting to the net, and would you like to just kind of carry over that same kind of game plan today? Yeah, I mean, we don’t want to change anything, you know, just one game we’re trying to stay positive, but obviously, you know, we’re playing really good team now and I feel like they stay tight, you know, they break out the puck very well and we just got. Uh, break that down and, uh, you know, stay tight with them as well and uh keep the pressure on them. Yeah, Jordan, uh, the Panthers, uh, say they’re very comfortable playing on the road in the playoffs. How do you make them uncomfortable? Yeah, try and uh try and play in their their end as much as you can, um, I felt like we got. I don’t think we got to it enough how we can kind of impose our will on teams when we get the for check going and get playing on their end, and I think we can have some better sticks and all that stuff to keep the play down there and obviously we try to make adjustments to limit their zone exits and stuff like that, but obviously you need to play in their end and you need to. I, I felt like we created enough, but you gotta, you gotta get action and get guys in front of Bob and all the, all the stuff that goes along with it. Up front. Stretch to that comment about Bob that there’s been some talk that maybe you guys are trying to get into the crease a little more. You had some contact with him. Uh, not insinuating you maybe hit him on purpose, but is that something you want to do is make him uncomfortable in that way by bumping him maybe those kind of things, you know, I don’t want to hurt anyone in the eye. That’s the worst thing that can happen. But, you know, after the game, actually my brother and a couple of friends asked me, did you see your hit on Bob? I’m like, what you guys talk about? Like I, it looks like I hit him on purpose, but I didn’t mean it at all. Questions? Left side, 2nd row. To reframe that, obviously Bob is on top of his game right now. Do you feel like you got enough shots on goal, uh, in game one, compared to just the sheer volume you, you’re used to generating throughout the season? I don’t, I don’t know if I remember correctly. I, I think we had over 30, that’s usually, uh, that’s usually kind of a measuring stick to, that we, we were, we did all right there. Um, I think you look at the 1st 10 minutes of the game, we had I think Fishy had a breakaway. We had a couple of 2 on ones like there’s definitely there’s plays to be had and chances to score. So um yeah, we obviously know he’s a great goalie and you got to get traffic in front of him. And then when you do get your chance, say on a 2 on 1, you got to bear down and you got to score. So we can, we can be better in that aspect of it and um definitely try and. You try, you’re trying everything to score. So, um, it’s, it’s, uh, it is, it is what it is we’re trying, we’re trying. Hey Jordan Roddy was talking the other day about uh Seth Jarvis and his maturity as a player and he’s gotten to that and I was just wondering your impressions of, of him and his progression as both a player and as a person in this league. Obviously as a player he’s he’s he’s just grown every year and every kind of thing that’s been thrown at him, he’s excelled in, it’s. I wouldn’t say forced on the penalty kill. He’s kind of forced himself onto the penalty kill. He’s thrived at that. He’s he’s a very good player and then as he’s getting older, he’s not even old, but taking the next steps as a leader and he speaks up in the room and he’s just a guy that you want to follow. So he’s been, he’s one of our best players that we like to rally behind. We’ll do 2 more questions right side in the back. Yeah, Andreton was talking about bearing down on chances. You’ve scored goals in these playoffs. You’ve scored goals your whole life. How do you describe to maybe us who don’t understand what the pressure is like in a moment like this, how you calm yourself down to be able to execute when the pucks on your stick and a scoring opportunity presents itself. Yeah, maybe not for life, but. I feel like, uh, you know, it just, it doesn’t matter who to score, who’s gonna score at this point of the year. Uh, just, uh, you’re happy for everyone who’s gonna score, but, uh, obviously, you know, you feel a little bit of pressure, but you try to not worry about it. Don’t, don’t go on social media and read all that stuff, but uh. Just, uh, try to enjoy, you know, this is the best time of uh of the of the year and uh enjoy the time, have fun and, you know, try to shoot more and score goals. Last question right side Dan Jordan, I want to ask you this. Logan Steinhoven, when he got here, when the trade was happening, it was a guy that Rod and, and Eric identified as like we, we have to get that guy back in this trade because he plays like a hurricane. What have you seen from him, Logan Steinhoven, and, and, and his fit within this group? Yeah, obviously he’s a dog on a bone type player, tries to win every battle and plays fast and skates well, so definitely fits into what we do really well and he’s excelled since being here and obviously he had a, he’s been good in his time in Dallas too, but he’s, you can, you can tell he’s he’s a really good player. He’s smart, and I’ve had the privilege of playing with him a little bit. So just to be able to see. How, how hard he competes all over the ice is something that’s uh that’s obviously caught the eye of everybody around here.
