Kamari Lassiter is headed to Santa Clara.

The Houston Texans’ second-year cornerback was named to the AFC Pro Bowl roster, alongside fellow teammate and standout safety Calen Bullock. Lassiter will replace New England Patriots star Christian Gonzalez, who won’t be available after New England secured its spot in the Super Bowl.

Lassiter earns his first career Pro Bowl selection after starting in 16 games fo the No. 1-ranked defense this past fall. He totaled career-high totals in tackles (91), pass breakups (17), tackles for loss (7), and interceptions (4).

His 17 passes defensed ranked fourth in the AFC, while his four interceptions were tied for third in the conference and the most on his team, alongside Bullock, nickel defender Jalen Pitre and All-Pro counterpart Derek Stingley Jr.

According to the Texans‘ public relations staff, from Weeks 4-12, Lassiter recorded at least one pass defensed in eight consecutive games, the longest streak in the NFL this season. The former second-round pick’s 91 tackles led all cornerbacks this season, while his seven tackles for loss were tied for the third most of his position group

Per the Texans’ PR staff, Lassiter is one of just two cornerbacks in NFL history to record at least 75 tackles, five tackles for loss, 15 pass deflections and three interceptions in a single season since 1994. In two postseason games, Lassiter totaled 11 tackles and four pass breakups.

Lassiter and Bullock will join linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair, defensive end Will Anderson Jr., wide receiver Nico Collins and Stingley Jr at the 2026 Pro Bowl games. This marks the first year since 2018 that the Texans had at least six Pro Bowlers on their roster.

The Texans will pick 28th in the 2026 NFL Draft come April.
