How would you rank the Indianapolis Colts’ upcoming free agents?
Pro Football Focus recently ranked the top 250 free agents this offseason. Included on the list were 10 members of the Colts.
Let’s take a look at where each of those players landed.

10. WR Alec Pierce
Pierce has earned himself a big payday. He’s led the NFL in yards per catch in each of the last two seasons and eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards for the first time in his career in 2025. The Colts have to prioritize bringing him back.
42. QB Daniel Jones
Behind the Colts’ highly productive offense through the first half of the season was Jones. From the sounds of it, Jones returning in 2026 — and beyond — seems inevitable.
58. CB Mike Hilton
The Colts signed Hilton to the practice squad early on in the season. After appearing in two games, he was placed on the practice squad injured reserve list after Week 5.

87. S Nick Cross
Cross filled the strong safety role in the Colts’ defense. After a strong 2024 season, Cross took a step back this past year, but at still just 24 years old, he will draw interest this offseason.
88. LB Germaine Pratt
Pratt provided needed stability at this position. However, linebacker is a position that GM Chris Ballard should revamp this offseason, especially if he does plan on getting younger and faster on defense, which was said to be an offseason priority.
96. DE Kwity Paye
Paye is a solid run defender, but hasn’t generated steady pass rush production. The Colts need more pass-rush juice from this position.

101. DE Samson Ebukam
The Colts’ defense ranked 30th in ESPN’s pass rush win rate metric. The defensive end position has to be reshaped by Ballard.
107. OT Braden Smith
This ranking feels way too low for Smith, who has been a consistent presence at right tackle for a number of years. However, the Colts could go in a different direction this offseason, choosing to start Jalen Travis in 2026.
204. TE Mo Alie-Cox
Tyler Warren will lead the way at this position, but the Colts use a heavy dose of two-tight-end sets. Alie-Cox helped fill that primary blocking role.
242. DE Tyquan Lewis
The same thing I said about Ebukam applies here.
