Four Buffalo Bills players are now free agents, as GM Brandon Beane continues his search for Sean McDermott’s replacement at head coach.

In a stunning move, the Buffalo Bills fired Sean McDermott following a heartbreaking Divisional Round loss to the Denver Broncos. They’re still looking for his successor, with former Pro Bowl quarterback Philip Rivers removing himself from Buffalo’s head coaching search.

Meanwhile, four ex-Bills players are now free agents with their practice squad deals expiring.

Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, former Bills players in edge rushers Matthew Judon, Shaq Lawson, kicker Matthew Wright and quarterback Shane Buechele are now free agents. All four were on the Bills’ practice squad and eligible to sign elsewhere.

That includes the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots, who are set to face off in Super Bowl 60 on Feb. 8.

Judon appeared in one game for the Buffalo Bills after the Miami Dolphins waived him. None of Wright, Lawson or Buechele played a snap for McDermott’s squad.
