The Seattle Seahawks are in the Super Bowl, and just one win away from taking home their first championship in over 10 years.

They’ve made it this far thanks to an incredible defense, which has some of the best defensive backs in the NFL this season. But a few of those key defenders are hitting free agency.
One of those defensive backs, cornerback Tariq Woolen, is predicted to leave the Seahawks this offseason by Zachary Pereles of CBS Sports. Pereles predicts that Woolen will leave Seattle for the East Coast, signing with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Seahawks predicted to lose Woolen to Eagles
“Philadelphia has stars at one outside cornerback spot (Quinyon Mitchell) and the nickel cornerback spot (Cooper DeJean),” Pereles writes. “It would love to add a second strong outside cornerback to that duo, and Woolen would fit the bill as a massive talent that Vic Fangio can get the best out of.”

Seeing Woolen leave in free agency wouldn’t be the biggest surprise for the Seahawks. They have a lot of other needs on the roster, and could instead look to go younger and cheaper at cornerback this offseason.
Also, Woolen is a very polarizing player. When he’s at his best, he’s a Pro Bowl-level talent. But, as seen in the NFC Championship, he’s susceptible to lapses in ability that can cost his team games.
The ceiling is incredible, and he would be worth it for the Eagles, or any other team looking for a strong outside cornerback. But the Seahawks, amid needs elsewhere, could turn to other options this offseason.
