Insiders say that Udinski has made a new deal with the Jaguars, bumping his pay and keeping him in Duval for at least another season.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — It looks like the Jacksonville Jaguars are holding on to a key member of their coaching staff.

After garnering serious interest in the NFL’s head coaching market after the 2025 season, it appears that offensive coordinator Grant Udinski will be staying with the Jaguars amid interviews with the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills.

ESPN Insider Adam Schefter reported on Monday that Udinski had removed himself from consideration for the position in Cleveland due to a new deal struck with the Jaguars that would increase his pay.

While he had removed himself from the Browns, the report says the Jaguars allowed Udinski to still pursue the position with the Bills; however, the NFL announced on Tuesday that the Bills would be promoting internally, naming Joe Brady as head coach.

The report claims that if Udinski had not received the position, he would remain with the Jags.

If Udinski were to have been hired by either team, he would have become the youngest head coach in NFL history.

Udinski’s work with QB Trevor Lawrence, along with his ability to adapt the offense, has been widely praised around the league. Under Udinski’s leadership, the Jaguars averaged nearly 33 points per game during the second half of the season, earning an eight-game winning streak that led to the team becoming the 2025 AFC South Divisional Champions.
