The Tennessee Titans are hiring former Giants QBs coach Shea Tierney to the same position, NFL Network reported on Jan. 28.

Tierney, 39, has worked with new Titans offensive coordinator Brian Daboll for nearly a decade, first at Alabama in 2017 before following him to Buffalo from 2018-21 and to New York for the last four seasons.

Tierney and Daboll will work with quarterback Cam Ward in his second season as a Tennessee Titan.

Tierney worked with Josh Allen at Buffalo as an offensive assistant (2018-2019) and assistant quarterback coach (2020-2021).

Daboll and Tierney worked with several quarterbacks in four seasons with the Giants, including Daniel Jones, Russell Wilson and Jaxson Dart.

Tierney remained on the Giants staff midseason after Daboll’s firing last year, though passed over for promotions as offensive coordinator Mike Kafka became the interim coach and tight ends coach Tim Kelly was elevated to interim offensive coordinator.
