The Arizona Cardinals did not make the playoffs after a 3-14 2025 season. However, there are former Cardinals players involved with the AFC Championship Game on Sunday.

Between the Pats and Broncos, there are three former Cardinals on their rosters. Who are they?

Patriots QB Josh Dobbs

Dobbs was the Cardinals’ starting quarterback for the first half of the 2023 season. He was the Patriots’ backup quarterback this season.

Patriots DL Khyiris Tonga

Tonga played for the Cardinals in 2024 and signed with the Patriots in 2025. He played in 14 games and started eight at nose tackle.

Broncos DL Zach Allen

Allen was a third-round pick of the Cardinals in 2019 and played for them for four seasons before signing with teh Broncos. He was a first-team All-Pro for the first time this season and was selected to the Pro Bowl. He had seven sacks from the defensive interior.
