FOXBOROUGH, MASS. (WFSB) – The New England Patriots will hold a Super Bowl LX send-off rally Sunday morning at Gillette Stadium before departing for Santa Clara to face the Seattle Seahawks.
The team announced Wednesday that the free rally will take place despite winter weather conditions expected in the region.
Gillette Stadium lots will open at 8 a.m., with fans able to enter the stadium at 9 a.m. Entertainment will begin at 9:30 a.m., featuring a performance by Dropkick Murphys starting at 10 a.m.
The rally will start at 10:30 a.m. and last about 45 minutes. Patriots ownership, head coach Mike Vrabel and team captains are among the scheduled speakers.
After the rally concludes, the team will load buses around 11:30 a.m. and head to the airport for their departure to Santa Clara, California.
This year’s Super Bowl is being played at Levi’s Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers.
Players and coaches will fly out of T.F. Green Airport in Warwick, Rhode Island.
The rally is free to all fans, but a ticket is required.
Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning Thursday morning.
The Patriots said a registration link will be published Thursday morning on the team’s website and social media channels.
