Two-time Super Bowl Champion Greg Lewis is joining the Tennessee Titans’ staff.
The Tennessee Titans added another veteran coach to Robert Saleh’s new staff, hiring Baltimore Ravens wide receivers coach Greg Lewis on Wednesday, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
Lewis reunites with Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi after the two spent six seasons together on the Kansas City Chiefs’ staff, during which they won two Super Bowls. The hire continues Tennessee’s complete overhaul of its coaching staff under Saleh, who was officially named head coach on January 20.
Lewis enters his 12th season as an NFL coach after spending the past three years guiding Baltimore’s wide receiver room. In 2024, he helped Zay Flowers become the first wide receiver in Ravens franchise history to earn Pro Bowl honors. Flowers recorded 74 receptions for a career-high 1,059 yards and four touchdowns.
Titans Hire Former Chiefs, Ravens Super Bowl Champion Coach Greg Lewis
The two-time Super Bowl champion brings championship pedigree to a Titans’ offense that desperately needs it. Lewis was part of the Chiefs’ coaching staff when Kansas City defeated San Francisco 31-20 in Super Bowl LIV following the 2019 season, then won again when the Chiefs beat Philadelphia 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII after the 2022 season.
Lewis joins an offensive staff that’s being assembled by newly hired offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, the former New York Giants head coach, whom the Titans hired earlier this week. Daboll has already brought two of his former Giants‘ assistants to Nashville — quarterbacks coach Shea Tierney and offensive line coach Carmen Bricillo.
Daboll has a chance to rebuild his reputation next to Cam Ward after struggling as the Giants’ head coach, while Lewis provides proven experience in developing young receivers. Before his Baltimore stint, Lewis spent four seasons (2017-2020) as the Chiefs’ wide receivers coach, then two seasons (2021-2022) coaching Kansas City’s running backs.
Lewis also coached wide receivers for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2016. His playing career spanned eight seasons (2003-2010) with Philadelphia and Minnesota, including a massive touchdown catch in Super Bowl XXXIX for the Eagles.
Titans Continue to Build New Coaching Staff
The Lewis hire comes just before Saleh’s official introductory press conference, scheduled for Thursday afternoon in Nashville. Saleh, who spent the 2025 season as San Francisco’s defensive coordinator after his tenure as New York Jets‘ head coach ended, now leads a franchise desperate for stability.
Tennessee fired head coach Brian Callahan in October after a 1-5 start, finishing the season 3-14 under interim coach Mike McCoy. The Titans averaged just 16.7 points per game in 2025, their second-lowest total since moving to Nashville.
Borgonzi, hired as general manager last January, has moved quickly to reshape the organization. The Chiefs posted a 52-16 regular-season record during Borgonzi’s four seasons as assistant GM from 2021 to 2024.
