Mike McCarthy continues to build his coaching staff after being introduced as the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
After naming Adam Henry the wide receivers coach, McCarthy has found a new offensive line coach, hiring James Campen.
“The Steelers are set to hire veteran offensive line coach James Campen, sources tell CBS Sports,” Matt Zenitz reports. “Campen, an ex-NFL offensive lineman who made 50 career starts, was new Pittsburgh head coach Mike McCarthy’s offensive line coach in Green Bay from 2007-18.”
As Zenitz points out, Campen was with the Packers for 12 seasons under McCarthy, which, of course, was when Rodgers was in Green Bay. Hard Knocks caught Rodgers and Campen poking fun at one another back in 2023 when Rodgers was with the Jets.
Campen has also had stints with the Cleveland Browns (2019), Los Angeles Chargers (2020), Houston Texans (2021), and Carolina Panthers (2022-23).
