The Tennessee Titans had a solid rushing attack despite the turmoil on offense throughout the 2024 season. Led by Tony Pollard, the run game was a consistent element that the team could rely on all year.
Pollard flashed his dynamic skill set, carrying the ball 260 times for 1,079 yards and five touchdowns, overcoming an ankle injury that plagued him later in the season.

On Tuesday, head coach Brian Callahan discussed some potential changes to improve the rushing game even more in 2025, and Pollard had a chance to elaborate during a media session, but he started with how he feels heading into this stage of the offseason.
“I feel great.” he said while addressing the ankle injury that hampered him in 2024.
“Just being more aggressive with my body, keeping my body in shape, not having as long of a downtime in between the season and when I get back going for the offseason,” Pollard said. “Just knowing, being older, being a little bit more of a vet in this league, you have to keep your body in shape so when it is time to get going you’ll be ready.”

Pollard appears to have fully recovered from the ankle injury and has consistently participated during the Titans’ offseason workouts. Heading into his seventh NFL season, Pollard said he is behind the decision to even out the division of labor, and believes it could help the team become more consistent.
“Whatever way we can contribute to the success of the team,” Pollard said. “Getting more guys involved, keeping guys fresh, whatever it is that is going to keep us winning games and keep guys fresh throughout the season, it’s ideal.”
Tennessee has Tyjae Spears, Julius Chestnut, and sixth-round pick Kalel Mullings behind Pollard on the depth chart heading into Phase 3 of OTAs, and intends on creating a complete stable of backs to take their rushing attack to a new level.
