Jesse Minter: ‘This Ravens Job Was the One for Me'”

Whenever a team is searching for a new head coach, the process is always long and detailed, with the front office evaluating a list of potential candidates who could lead the team to success. For the Baltimore Ravens, the search quickly brought one name to the forefront: Jesse Minter.

Minter was asked what it was like to go through the process and whether he knew this job was the right fit for him.

“Yes, great question. It’s great to see you again. I think when the process started, you really have no idea what jobs are going to be open. As you get towards the middle and end of the season, you feel like you might be a candidate. But, when this job opened, this became the one for me, and this was the one that I wanted. I did go through the initial process with a lot of different teams, but as I was able to reconnect with people in this organization, and knowing the history, knowing the tradition, knowing the spine of the organization, kind of what it’s built on, there was no better place for me.”

For Minter, it wasn’t just about landing a head coaching job—it was about joining a team and organization where he could make a real impact. Ravens fans are getting a coach who knows the job’s meaning and is ready to hit the ground running.
