SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) – Notre Dame is losing veteran defensive assistant Al Washington to the NFL, according to John Brice with FootballScoop.com.
Washington has reportedly accepted a job with the Miami Dolphins.
Washington had just been elevated to the program’s linebackers coach after serving as the defensive line coach for the Irish since 2022.
Notre Dame now needs to replace their linebackers and defensive backs coach this offseason.
