Davis Webb has made a surprising decision.

After two interviews for the Las Vegas Raiders‘ head coach opening, Webb has withdrawn from consideration for the position, ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported on Thursday evening. In addition to the Raiders’ job, Webb also interviewed for head coach roles with the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens.

After withdrawing contention for the Las Vegas opening, Webb is considered “a prime candidate” for the Denver Broncos‘ offensive coordinator opening, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak now appears to be the top remaining candidate for the Raiders’ job.

Webb currently serves as Denver’s offensive pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach. After the team fired offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi, Webb will presumably be a top in-house candidate to replace him. He has also drawn OC interest from the Ravens and New York Giants, among others.
