The Keon Coleman saga for the Buffalo Bills is hopefully buried… at least for now.

On Thursday, Joe Brady was introduced as the team’s next head coach. Quarterback Josh Allen was in attendance and spoke as well.

Both touched on the topic of Coleman, who saw his name thrown out in a negative manner by Bills owner Terry Pegula after the team fired head coach Sean McDermott.

Pegula tried to note McDermott wanted to draft Coleman in 2024 and that choice was not general manager Brandon Beane’s… who was not fired like McDermott. Inadvertently, Pegula tossed a backhanded mention to Coleman.

With the dust settled from the coaching change, Beady went on to back Coleman at his introductory presser.

“Keon Coleman is going to be a Buffalo Bill,” Brady said via video conference. “I told Keon when I got hired, the best thing that happened to Keon Coleman was me being his head coach.”

“I was one of the ones that stood on the table for Keon Coleman, and I believe in Keon Coleman,” the coach added.

Likewise, quarterback Josh Allen threw his support to Coleman as well.

“I’m not going to give up on [number[zero],” Allen said. “He’s got too much ability, and I will not give up on him. We’re going to work tirelessly, him and me, and so will everybody else in this building, to make sure that whenever we step foot on the field, that we’re going to find ways to win football games.”

Coleman had two inconsistent seasons to begin his NFL career but that doesn’t mean he can’t eventually find his footing in a role that the Bills desperately need: A deep-threat playmaker on offense.
